    Problems from day-one with new Toshiba Satellite Radius laptop. I kept getting a black screen that would pop up while using the laptop. I called tech service and after some remote testing, I was told it's a software problem which will cost $90 for advanced software tech support and I paid the $90. After SIX days, MANY hours of remote access, and dealing with EIGHT different techs, the problem was still happening.     I purchased a Toshiba Laptop on March 24, 2012. 30 day return policy and 1 year warranty. Within 2 weeks I contacted Toshiba Customer Service regarding a problem with the internal speakers. I took an additional 2 weeks before a technician determined there was a problem with the laptop. I was advised that the computer could be returned to the company for repair, but, I would have to pay a $25 "shipping / handling fee."   • Toshiba TV's have problems with tuners



    I sell Toshiba TV's. The newer models, last 6 months, lock up on a certain local HD channel. It does not matter wether it is over cable or air. They become out of sync voice to picture and you have to manually shut them off to fix the problem. This may happen once a week or several times a day. Now they expect me to pay the cost of running around picking up the sets and the cost of sending them back. I have 30 sets out there with this problem.     I purchased a L640 laptop on 1/31/11 for $579 base price. Three days later I noticed that Toshiba had it on sale for $549 so I called and emailed the rep to receive it at this sale price. He never responded so I called the following Monday 2/7. I knew he was being deceptive when he said he was just talking to his manager about it and to hold on for a few minutes.     1 year, 7 months ago, bought 52" Flat Screen. 1 week ago, LCD Panel went bad. Repair man said would cost more or as much to fix as to replace. Called Toshiba, after a run around, they finally called me back today. So sorry for your bad luck, but unfortunately there is nothing they can do. Was not asking for free TV or Repair. Just ask for a little consideration with repairs. When you pay over $2,000.00 to have a new TV installed, I expect it to work more than 1 1/2 years. Please help. More...

    1.The first time I got the laptop it came broken. The battery fell right out and parts were sticking out on the bottom. Returned and bought a new one instead of waiting the MONTH it would take for them to verify my return and start processing a replacement order. 2.They didn't return the insurance policy or transfer it over to the new computer per my request.     Purchased Toshiba 1 TB external hard drive on 10/17/2009. Cannot contact ANYBODY at Toshiba that seems to even know that this product exists. Called number in instruction manual (510) 651-6798. They referred me to another number(888-592-0944), who then referred me to another number (949-457-0777), who referred me back to the original number. Called the original number back, and they then referred me to 1-888-592-0944 again.
