So disapointed with Toshiba . Purchased a 46''HDTV through AMAZON back in September. I have had nothing but issues since - The screen would randomly go blank while the power light remained on- no sound. Started to happen randomly and has increased to happening at least 1-2X per hour when watching.

When I first called Toshiba they sent a serviceman out to fix it since it was under warranty. The service comapny associated with them was a JOKE! Would not even run a diagnostic test and kept guessing the problem. Overall, came back a total of 4 times and never fixed the problem. I had to ask for a new service repair center to help the problem- which i Had to wait 30 days to use due to their "service repair center warranty" - I get a new service center- who doesn't return my phone calls.

I finally get assigned a case number and a case manager who say I have been through enough and the next step is a replacement TV (This is after 5 months of calls totaling countless hours)Now, their idea of a resolution? Instead of replacing our TV (which is less than a year old and falls fully under the "One Year Warranty") - we can take a buy back price (which is 250 dollars LESS than we paid for our TV), get a smaller model, or pay THEM for a bigger model.

Unbelievable that this is their idea of customer service for a TV that has been broken since the day we purchased it.
